Hi to all.
I've been struggling in the last few hours trying to install the new version over the testing version 5.0.19-r106900.
Windows keeps telling me I need the "VirtualBox-5.0.19-r106900-MultiArch_amd64.msi" file, but I can't find it anywhere, 'cause my system took a nice clean to the "AppData\Local\Temp" folder.
I looked around and I saw that a lot of people had similar problems with other VBox versions.
So I tried to clean the Windows Registry, tried to delete all the VBox files in System32, but... no luck.
Any hint?
Or better: someone still have the VirtualBox-5.0.19-r106900-MultiArch_amd64.msi?
Thank you.

To recreate the required 106900 file, reinstall that version again, as a repair. You may need to download it again, if no longer have the msi.
Then you should be able to install 5.0.20, over the top.
This worked for me: I was able to find the relevant test build to download, via a link in an appropriate forum.
I had the same issue on earlier versions, having also tidied up: CCleaner.
Good luck!

CCleaner is snake oil. Completely pointless.

Despite your opinion, the fact is that CCleaner has its uses, and is not completely pointless.mpack wrote:CCleaner is snake oil. Completely pointless.
We can continue this conversation in PMs, if you'd like.

No, but thanks for the offer.
