VBox Manager: VM group gets silently renamed

Post by Technologov »

VBox 6.0.0-BETA2

Setup: Have a bunch of VMs:
1. New Group
2. Red Hat Group
3. Windows Group

----
Steps: (in VirtualBox Manager)
1. Unregister Windows VMs, that are part of "Windows Group" (delete them, but keep on hard disk) (Right click->Remove->Remove only)
2. Click on any VM inside "New Group" or "Red Hat group".
3. Re-add a single Windows VM from "Windows Group".

Expected results:
1. It should re-add itself to "Windows group", because it resides in "Windows group" folder on HDD.

Actual results:
1. It's added to a "New Group", while renaming already-existing "New Group" into "Windows group". VirtualBox should NEVER rename already existing VM group silently, without warning.
