After minimising Vbox and suspending the laptop, I ended up with this, i.e. a borderless (Word) window that I could not scroll within.

Reproducible? If so, could you "time" the events and post the corresponding VBox.log.zip? I.e. start the VM, at 05 min 00 sec, I minimized the window, at 05 min 30 sec, I restored the window. Give it some time in between events to make it clearer...

Thanks. I've been trying to reproduce the problem - with a 'timeline' - but thus far I've not been able to. Still, it did happen once! That it is not happening frequently is good, I suppose!
