Host: OpenSuse 11.3 64 Bit, KDE 4.5, VBOX 4.0 b2.

If i try to change the guest via button or contextmenu, the gui crashes always. Message in xterm: "Speicherzugriffsfehler" (Memory Protection Error).

Call the setup window by clicking on a special link like audio in the right guest settings area works always.

Cannot reproduce. OpenSUSE 10.3 amd64 but Qt on this system is currently at version 4.6.3 -- is your host up-to-date?

Ah right. But still, unable to reproduce. Does this happen with every VM or only with one VM?

Tried reinstalling VB? I also see different versions noted, Stefan has problems with 11.3, Frank says he's using 10.3. Which OS are you using?
Stefan, if you run VB from the terminal, what does output do you get when VB crashes?

Sorry, 10.3 was a typo, I actually meant openSUSE 11.3.

Yes, but I have to be able to reproduce this. Or can you provide a core dump?

http://aplawrence.com/Linux/limit_core_files.html

I found a way to produce core files, It works as suggested with the bash-kill. But for VirtualBox there is no core file, sorry.
