GA's installed in safe mode (3D.2D)
Log shows an error about a missing file VBoxCred.dll. I can not find any reference to this file nor locate it on the computer.
Everything seems to be working fairly well except the sound. Raspy and sluggish. Is the above file supposed to be installed or is this just a report error?

The "error" about the missing VBoxCred.dll file isn't actually an error: The Guest Addition simply cannot retrieve version information which is okay because of the not by default installed file VBoxCredProv.dll. This will be fixed in the next release. Thanks for the report!
