Why there is a newly made 1.5GB RAM Windows Guest Limit? I have some VMs running a Windows Guest and all of them are using about 3GB (from 4GB Host with minimal debian)
please consider implementing a method to override this limit!

There is no 1.5 GB Windows guest limit. There is a 1.5 GB guest limit for 32 bits Windows hosts.

Re: 3.0.6 Beta 1 - 1.5GB Guest Limit WHY?
Then I ask the question, why on the Host? My Windows system can see my full 3 GB of RAM, and if I want to give a VM 2 GB, I should be able to. The Host has plenty of RAM left, it uses way less than 1 GB. Users shouldn't be restricted to these kinds of things. There was such a limit in the beginning, allowing only 2 GB, it was later raised to 3,5 for 32 bit Guests and now that limit is removed on the Host side. So, why Windows? Why not the other Hosts too? What is the reason for this limitation?

Re: 3.0.6 Beta 1 - 1.5GB Guest Limit WHY?
Simple: there is no room in the 32 bits virtual address space to map the whole guest ram. It was accidentally increased before, but many people ran into this limit.
We'll lift this limit in the future, but keep in mind that it's a lot of work. It's not such a high priority as 64 bits hosts do not suffer from this limitation.
