V3BETA2: Segfaults while loading OS if using more than 1 CPU

Postby msg-72 » 28. Jun 2009, 22:54

If using more than 1 CPU i get always segemetation faults while loading the guest OS.
And i get always the ugly loading screen (see Screenshots.jpg), even if using 1 CPU (1 CPU => OS loading success).

VBox: 3.0.0 BETA 2
Host: Windows Vista Ultimate x64 (SP2)
Guest: Ubuntu 9.04 x64 (Live-CD Mode)

Host Hardware: CPU=Q6600, RAM=4GB, GFX=Geforce8800GTS, HD=RAID-0

How to repeate the Crash:
1) Select options (see Screenshots.jpg)
2) Start VM
3) Select Ubuntu's Live-CD Mode (see Screenshots.jpg)
(Same effect, if loading an installed Ubuntu)
4) After a long "loading" periode... (see Screenshots.jpg)
5) Segmentation faults (see Screenshots.jpg)
