FIXED: Multiple Guest OS Troubles

Post by gasper »

Since Beta 3.0 I'm unable to install or use XP 32 or Vista 32 Guests. My Host OS is Vista 64.

I used the default config from the wizard. The only thing I modified was to Enable the CD-Rom, where I mounted my XP or Vista ISO images.

Now during the early install stage the Guests are crashing with different BSODs (IRQ not less or equal, PFN_LIST_CORRUPT, MEMORY MANAGEMENT etc.)

I switched back to VBOX 2.2.4 and the same procedure is working, the guests installs without problems and are running stable. If I now update from VBOX 2 to VBOX 3 Beta the guests are crashing again with BSODs.

BTW: Host and Guests are german language versions and the error appears with both BETA Versions.
