3.0 Beta issues
3.0 Beta issues
I see the announcement to use this forum for 3.0 Beta issues. Do you want us to create new per-issue topics, or use a thread like this one for all issues? I have some issues to report under OpenSolaris 2009.06 64-bit as a host, but would like to do so in an appropriate manner.

Re: 3.0 Beta issues
You can report all the problems you've seen in one thread. It can be split up later if necessary. Thanks.

Re: 3.0 Beta issues
Hi Sandervl, All,
3.0.0Beta 1 & 2 - I have windows XP 32b host running Fedora 11 64b as guest (hw virt).
When starting the guest, it does not start correctly the graphics mode screen
The graphics screen is shown as blur of lines at the top part of the screen.
I need to switch to a different virtual screen and back using Alt-Ctrl-F2 then Alt-Ctrl-F1 to get the login screen.
btw: at the init phase it shows correcly the cureser with the cyrcle.
btw: I use the 3.0b2 addons.
Thanks you for VBox.

Re: 3.0 Beta issues
COPY/PASTE ISSUE
I have an Ubuntu, 64-Bit, 9.04 host, 3.2GHz i7, 12GB Ram, with a Window 7 guest, Virtualbox 3.0 Beta 2.
I have installed the V3.0 Guest Additions in the Windows 7 guest.
Everything appears to work ok, but in the windows file manager, if I copy a file, I cannot paste it. The paste option is greyed out.
Some applications have a similar problem with copy/paste.
There seems to be some sort of permission problem.
Reverting back to Virtualbox 2.2.4 solves the problem.

SLOW/JERKY MOUSE ISSUE
Host 64-bit Ubuntu, i7, 3.2GHz, 12GByte ram, Virtualbox 3.0 Beta 2, Guest Windows 7.
When I rdesktop (from either windows or linux) into the Windows 7 virtual machine, the cursor is slow and jerky, not smooth like on the desktop outside of the virtual machine.
I have installed the V3.0 Guest Additions.
