The new pop-up window of v3.0b1 that prompts the user for Registration cannot communicate the information over proxy.
My proxy is URL type proxy (port is excluded).
So although I have a Sun Online account it fails.
It should be nice if either via this form or via a section in the general configuration of VistualBox we could define the proxy settings so that data communication could be possible.

Should now work as of VirtualBox 4.1.2.
