Beta 2: NetBSD 5.0 RC3 will not install

Post by TheAndromedan »

I have tried different BSD settings for NetBSD 5.0 RC3 and none of them successfully startup the iso image so that I can install NetBSD.

This is for Virtual Box 2.20 Beta 2, running on a Mac OS X 10.5.6

Note: It will work fine for VMWare Fusion 2.x

Does it work in VB 2.1.4 or earlier? Saying that it works in VMWare doesn't help much here. Not the same product ;).

It will not start under VirtualBox 2.1.4 either. It seems to get stuck at:

NetBSD/x86 cd9660 Primary Bootstrap

Then it's not a 2.2 beta specific issue. You might want to file a bug report in the Bugtracker for it. You need a separate account for it though.
