Hi,
sorry, maybe this is a dumb question, but i didn't find an answer searching around.
Can I access the same COM objects I use from the host, from the guest?
I tried to run a test program, but it fails, error code 80040154.
I assume that is because there is not a COM server registered in the guest machine registry, or it's not possible at all?
Sorry if I don't use the correct terminology, I am really new to COM stuff.
And since this is a general question, I don't add other information, the guest has the latest guest addition installed, of course.
Thanks again for your support.

You are correct, it is not possible to access the COM object from the guest - you are in a whole different system.
