It's a fair comment, i'm just too used to the API now, I didn't realise where was the confusion.
I'll create a dedicated topic for examples and make it as a post-it in this section.

yeah I think its one of those things that you struggle through once, and then forget about when you've finally figured it out.

I posted a 'lets wikify the manual' suggestion in the suggestions forum, so lets see if anyone picks up on this.
