Hello,
I have a Red Had Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8.1 guest (with Linux kernel 4.19) on a Windows 10 Virtualbox 6.1.4 host. Most guest additions features (such as bidirectional clipboard, shared folders, or mouse) work fine, but the guest display does not dynamically resize when I change the size of the Virtualbox guest window. If I go to full screen mode, the guest also keeps its original resolution and doesn't fill up my whole screen. After updating to Virtualbox 6.1.6 (and updating the guest additions accordingly), and even after making a new virtual machine from scratch, the problem remains.
How can I troubleshoot and solve this so that I can have dynamic display resizing? If a log file will help diagnostics please let me know which one to upload. Thank you very much.
P.S. The "Seamless Mode" option is greyed out and inactive in my guest window's View menu. Why is that?

Sounds similar to:

Workaround for me is to install Guest Additions 6.1.2 (because 6.1.4 has a clipboard bug).

Where can I download the 6.1.2 guest additions to try it?

And I can now confirm that installing Guest Additions 6.1.2 restores dynamic guest display resizing for me.Greg Bailey wrote:Workaround for me is to install Guest Additions 6.1.2 (because 6.1.4 has a clipboard bug).
