It works again with the latest Test-GA. I assumed the newest GA is included in the Windows test build.
I had to install it separately.
Thanks a lot !

Screen auto fit works fine with VirtualBox 6.1.8 on Windows 10 x64 host + Ubuntu 20.04 LTS guest.
Re: Guest Additions 6.1.6 r137129 break graphic settings
Screen auto fit NOT works fine with VirtualBox 6.1.8 on the MacOS Catalina host + Ubuntu 18.04 LTS or Debian 10 guest. - works fine only after manual resizing
Copy & paste, Shared folders - works fine
also all my virtual machines crashes time to time (usually after sleep\wake up and detached or attach my dongle for external monitor by hDMI )
I attach my virtualbox logs and MacOs crash report while virtual machine was crashed - maybe it will help

Re: Guest Additions 6.1.6 r137129 break graphic settings
Still can't set guest resolution to 1920x1080 on centos 8 with "recommended" VMSVGA. VBoxSVGA works.
I've updated my Windows host to 6.1.8 r137981. I've installed the GA Pack to 6.1.8 r137981. I've installed the Guest Additions too.
I've tried setting a display resolution hint and removing the display resolution hint.
Guest is centos 8.

As of revision 138395 GA should be able resize virtual monitors on Wayland guests as well. That is when vmsvga graphics adapter is used. The new GAs are available in https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Testbuilds.
