I just called Oracle and they suggested I post here for support of their simulator. The current OVA download from Oracle is at version OS8.8.0 (2013.06.05.8.0,1-1.34). I am wanting to play with a new feature that was added in OS8.8.3 (2013.1.8.3) is 2013.06.05.8.3-1.1.1.
The BUI is showing there is an upgrade and I was able to get it uploaded into the Virtual Appliance (Firefox) but the install is failing. Does anyone have an knowledge on this?

These are the VirtualBox user discussion forums. We can't tell you anything about Oracle Linux. If you want support for Oracle Linux then I'm sure they have their own discussion forums.
If you have an ISO and want to know how to create a VirtualBox VM then I would suggest the User Manual, which you can read online, or you can simply download and install the software, then the manual can be found as a PDF in the program folder.
If you already did this and have a problem then a screenshot and precise error message is required.
