Error - No log files found

So, I initially installed virtual box, and set it up with Kali Linux. The first try round everything worked fine. However, now whenever I try to set up thereafter I keep getting an error message "No log files found. Press the Refresh button to re-scan the log folder" - I've tried refreshing to no avail, tried deleting everything and starting again, which also failed. Now, I'm at a loss to what gone wrong and how to fix it. Any help appreciated.

From that description I have no idea if you are describing a problem in the guest or the host.

Also, if the guest is Kali Linux then this topic doesn't belong in "Windows Guests". I'll move it to "Linux Guests" for now.
