Host OS is Fedora 30
VirtualBox version 6.0
Guest System Centros 7
After the Guest Addition was installed, I try to login as user and the login in is accepted but the login screen reappears. When I log in as root, I am in. How do I get the user to be able to log in like root?

Is there a cog-like icon in the login screen? Does it include "Gnome Classic"? If yes, try that. If not, we need to see a complete VBox.log, from a complete VM run, where the problem occurs:
- Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state) / Observe problem / Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
- With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
- Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

Hi sorcratis,
Many thanks for your detailed answer! Today when I logged in as the user using both the gnome and gnome classic, it works!. It is like a little man got into the system when it was shut down and straighten up the code. I can not reproduce the error.
Maybe the complete shutdown did the trick.
Again many thanks for you detailed response!
Bill

It looks like you're using the RPMFusion fork version of VirtualBox. You can either ask in their forums/channels for help, or completely remove/uninstall/delete/purge their version and install the official version from the Linux Downloads section of VirtualBox . You can even add VirtualBox as a repository, so you could use your traditional install/upgrade/uninstall tools.00:00:00.552189 VirtualBox VM 6.0.10_RPMFusion r132055 linux.amd64 (Jul 17 2019 12:36:10) release log
Having said that, when you install the official VirtualBox, here are a couple of things you need to take care of..
