Guest Additions install fails

Post by HSP »

I'm trying to install Guest Additions and I keep getting the following message.
Kernel headers not found for target kernel 4.1.12-61.1.18el7uek.x86_64. Please install them and execute /sbin/rcvboxadd setup
I am running virtualbox on a window10 server and the guest OS is Oracle Enterprise Linux 7.3

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to find the headers that match your kernel. If the headers don't exist you should either talk to your distribution's maintainers, or change the current kernel that you're using, either by upgrading or downgrading.
