Centos 7 VM unexpected shutdown

Post by Steve_GL »

Hoping you can help, I have a Centos 7 VM that keeps shutting down automatically.

I can see the error message: VBoxGlobal::sltHandleCommitDataRequest: Emergency shutdown initiated

Log file attached.

Any hints/tips as to what could cause this?

Thanks

Given that it's a CentOS guest, why are you not using the CentOS/RedHat template?

I would also increase the RAM allocation to the guest, given it 2 cores, give it a lot more graphics RAM, and install the extension pack and Guest Additions.
