[Invalid] A lot of functions missing in Budgie in virtual Arch

I run Virtual Box 6.0.5 on an Ubuntu 16.04 host.

I have a virtual Arch machine running the Budgie desktop. I boot the desktop from the headless prompt using the "startx" command.
I also have an Ubuntu virtual machine running the Budgie desktop.

A lot of what appears in the Ubuntu Budgie desktop does not appear in the Arch Budgie desktop. Basic stuff such as the "Preferences" tab in the "Budgie Menu" where you can select "Settings" and change wallpaper and such. I have installed the "Budgie-extras" but they don't seem to be available either. The Budgie desktop in the Arch virtual machine is very very basic.

Any ideas as to what I am missing?

And why do you think that this is a VirtualBox problem and not an Arch Budgie problem? I don't see the connection...

Just because an OS/program that runs in the context of VirtualBox has a problem, it doesn't make it a VirtualBox problem necessarily. You're having an issue that has most probably nothing to do with VirtualBox, so my suggestion would be to treat it as such, as a native problem with the OS or the application of the guest.

I took your advice and went to the Arch forum. Problem solved. I installed the gnome-control-center package and got a "Settins" tab.
