Hello All,

Guest Ubuntu 14.04.6 -desktoptop- i386.iso (1.09GB)
VirtualBox 6.04 r128413 (qt5.6.2)
host laptop Windows 10 home x64 version 10.0.17134 build 17134

memory allocted to Ubuntu was 1024Mb RAM and 10GB Harddrive
laptop win RAM 4.00GB to use 3.45GB

The problem occurred just after I pressed install Ubuntu in the VM screen then it went to show 7.5 Gb allocted and then the error message popped up.
I have attached the vboxlog and vbox hardening file. Can anyone help please.

I solved the issue, I was advised to changed the Hyper -V Virtualisation Enabled in Firmware to Yes and now its working.

I assume you mean that you enabled VT-x in the BIOS.

Hyper-v is a software product sold by Microsoft, I doubt you'll find any mention of it in a PC's BIOS menus.

Your log shows that you have around 1500MB RAM available. I would not increase VM RAM beyond 1024MB, because you can't afford it on this host.

It may be worthwhile fixing this. You won't be able to allocate >1 core until you do.

I would fix the amount of graphics RAM too. 16MB is usually not enough for a modern desktop OS.

Obsolete GAs installed, and they aren't even genuine obsolete VirtualBox GAs - they're from the Ubuntu fork. Those obsolete GAs will not be able to use the new VMSVGA graphics chipset introduced in VirtualBox v6.0.0, which you have selected in the VM settings.
