Mouse integration CentOS

Post by Nillm8tic »

Hi Guys,

I am new to all this and need some assistance please. I can't the mouse integration to work and I have tried the settings change recommended of switching the pointing device to "USB tablet".

Help would be greatly appreciated!

PS I have just downloaded and installed the extension pack as I believe this is needed for USB 3.0 ports. But still the same issue.

If you are running CentOS 7.6, you are mosr likely affected by this known issue, Mouse only usable within single application after mouse click on RHEL 7.6 (#18124).

This is the name of the ISO image I am using

Is this the version in question?

CentOS-7-x86_64-DVD-1810

If Yes, I guess (according to the ticket you pointed me to) there is no solution or workaround?

Since you opened your own thread, please do not post duplicates in other threads. Especially threads that are marked as [Solved], and extra especially in threads from 2014! ;)
I've removed the duplicate posts.

And yes, there are solutions, but please read the thread first that 'toracat' gave you. This is not a VirtualBox issue...
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

Yes, that is CentOS 7.6. Workarounds are available and can be found in the forum thread referenced.
