Letters repeating on Ubuntu host

Hi,

I was hoping someone could help as I’m having an issue with the installation of my Ubuntu virtual box. I have installed it before however recently decided to update it all as I haven’t used it in over a year.

When running the VM I get to the installation page and click install go though the steps to the keyboard settings, the first bit where you type what happens no matter what key a press it continues it indefinitely ie. llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll then in this case the “l” key will no longer work. I have tried pretty much everything I can think of uninstalled VM and different versions and used a different ubuntu version, it just happens every single time.

Please provide a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click and "Show Log" in the GUI, save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip, and attach the zip here.
