Guest Additions
Running VM 6.0 on MX Linux. Install Mint 18 in the VM. Installed no problem. When I go to DEVICES tab to insert the GA all that happens is the contents of the cd is displayed on the desktop of Mint. What I'm I missing? GA are version 6.0.2. Thanks in advance.

Just like in a real computer, just inserting a CD won't do that much. You need to run the installer "VBoxLinuxAddition.run". You may also need to install "gcc make perl".
