VB6: SLES15 freezes on boot after installing Guest additions.

I am installing a SLES 15 guest on VIrtualbox 6.0 (Windows 10 host).

I installed SLES 15 using my email and a registration code, which appears to have updated SLES as part of the install process. (This is good, right?)

After doing this, I installed the guest additions, and rebooted. The reboot hung starting vboxadd.service.

SLES 15 Install options:

• Base system
• Legacy support
• desktop Applications
• Development tools
• Default "server applications" module
• Enabled update repositories

I'm retrying and will take a snapshot before installing the VB guest additions so I can back out if this happens again.

Take a look at the Known Issues in the "Discuss the 6.0.0 release" post.

You may have been bitten by #18213 Install/Build Guestadditions on SLES12SP4 failed and your guest additions never completed the installation properly. This is fixed with 6.0.1 r128018 or later. Give it a try...
