I am on Mac OS High Sierra, I have Virtualbox 5.2.22
And I installed Ubuntu 18.04
But I have an error message
Connection Failure
activation of the network connection failed
How can I fix it ?

In what context do you see this error message? On the host? (I note that you posted the question in the "OS X Hosts" forum).

On the guest which is Ubuntu. Regularly, and when I go to firefox, or whan i want to share the folders.

Since the problem is on the guest, moving from "OSX Hosts" to "Linux Guests".
What's the network configuration? VM Settings » Network » Adapter 1 » Attached to. What's this set at? Set it to NAT and see what you get.
