I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but I cannot find a solution that works. Running VBOX host on windows 10 with a RHEL guest.
WHen I Load guest addtions CD, getting errors , "the system is currently not setup to build kernel modules.." Why do I have to re-build the guest addtions?

In order for a Linux kernel module to load correctly it has to be compiled against the running kernel. The error message that you got should have given some indication as to which extra packages you need to install in order to be able to compile them.lamikam wrote:Why do I have to re-build the guest addtions?
