I have CentOS 7 installed as guest OS in VirtualBox. Host OS (which is Windows 10) has 16Gb of RAM and guest OS has 8Gb. Everything, including guest, host, virtualbox and additions are latest version. 3D acceleration is enabled, VBoxGuestAdditions is installed.
Since some moment CentOS loading into black screen when it should be login form. At the preview window in VirtualBox I can see actual login form and it is alive if I click something. Anyway the guest screen itself remains to be solid black. I can fix this only by disabling 3D acceleration in VirtualBox, but this leads to slow GUI in guest OS. If I press Ctrl+Alt+F1 - I see pure console without problem, but when I switch again to GUI - I have black screen.
What is the problem and how to fix?

Sounds like you have buggy or non-existent OpenGL drivers on the host PC. Intel?
Google for and download an OpenGL test app for your host PC, check how well it works (on the host PC).
