Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS 32-bits does not start on Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Post by TheCourier »

As i understand, my system, the host should be able to run a 32-bit guest system, but while its starting i get a "critical error" msg asking me to get the logs and show them here. The reason why im trying to run a 32 bit instead of 64 bit, it is because i dont get the option to pick 64-bit Ubuntu, only 32 bit.

Thank you.

00:00:15.721713 !! VCPU0: Guru Meditation -2403 (VERR_TRPM_DONT_PANIC)
This is the Guru Meditation that you're getting.
00:00:01.969772 HM: HMR3Init: Falling back to raw-mode: VT-x is disabled in the BIOS for all CPU modes
00:00:02.481630 Full Name: "Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570 CPU @ 3.40GHz"
And this is "why" you're getting that error. You will need to address/fix the VT-x availability. Your i5-3570 most certainly supports VT-x, so it's a matter of enabling it in the BIOS. See your PC's manufacturer help on how to do this. Also, make sure that nothing else has an exclusive hold on the VT-x.
