I'm trying to set up two CentOS7 virtual machines each with a host only adapter and a nat adapter. The ultimate goal is to have one function as a DNS server running bind to be used by the other and future hosts. The trick is, that I'll need the hosts to be access each other on the host only adapter and use DNS from the host only network only for 192.168.56.0/24 addresses but Google's DNS 8.8.8.8 for the rest. Can this be done as I described or am I on the wrong track?
