That is interesting. I did see that elsewhere online. But I have already downloaded and installed the test version of Vbox that has the fix. My whole point is to see what these patches do. And I found out it triggered a bug in Vbox. And they fixed it. I want PTI on. I have the mitigation updates / patches on all my systems Windows 7, Windows 10 pre-release (now on 17074), and on Ubuntu 17.10 in Vbox.jz71 wrote:Try booting the latest kernel with pti=off parameter (disabling Meltdown mitigations).
