I'm running a headless Ubuntu 16.04 Host with a headless Ubuntu 16.04 Virtual Machine Guest. Both machines are configured with Static IPs in bridged mode. However, the guest machine after boot never has an active network. In order for it's IP address to be ping'd I have to RDP from my Windows 10 machine separate machine to the guest VM and run "Sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart". I absolutely need the Guest machine to have internet access at boot.
Code: Select all

/etc/network/interfaces
