I'm running a Manjaro upon a Windows distribution.
Everything works great. For normal usage, i'm having sound via pulseAudio connected to Jack. I'm using the cadence suite for optimization, and I believed everything's was going without xruns.
But,
if I want to use softwares that produce directly sound from alsa, like synths (zynaddsubfx or amsynth) or soft (supercollider), I have no sound at all.
I understood that cadence starts Jack in 'dummy' mode. If I switch to alsa, everything's freezing with lot of xruns.
In virtual box I can choose between driver AC97 and Intel HDA
In Dummy mode, both are working. But in Alsamixer, the selected card by default seems to be Intel HDA.
Someone already made sound from alsa into a VM-embedded linux ?
