Been trying to install Fedora 26 on VBox 5.1.22 but the video driver in the guest additions doesn't seem to be working.
XOrg says it can't find it (and indeed neither can I) but I don't see any errors when running guest additions or in its logs.
Any tips welcome.

Minimal information needed to be able to help
Also run "glxinfo | grep OpenGL" in the guests terminal and post the results here.

Ok, bit of a red herring. I was trying to do the minimal install that was missing stuff.
But the regular workstation install is still unhappy.

Re: vboxvideo on Fedora 26
When the system boots the VM window resizes but stays black. Other virtual terminals just have a message that they are holding for some process with an unlimited timeout.
I can get back into the system by adding systemd.unit=multi-user.target to the grub command line for the kernel.
Looking at the logs I see the Xorg can't load the vboxvideo module (module does not exist). It exists in /lib/modules/[kernel version]/misc though. And lsmod lists it.

5.1.24 Guest additions fix it.
