Good evening,
I have a project in Operating System class involving different operations to do in the terminal of Ubuntu on VB.
One of this task was "Network interface configured to acquire network address using DHCP. Ability to reconfigure network interface to use static IP is required."
I did different command and it seemed to work well.
But now, one week later, when I open this VB machine, I do not have access to any connection.
When I try to see informations about connection, the message "No valid active connections found" appears.
I must have done something wrong but I can't find a trace of this problem on the internet.
Please, excuse me if I don't understand everything, I am new to the Ubuntu world.

Edit :
I went to /etc/network/interfaces and deleted everything, then wrote :
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
I restarted the machine and now I have access to internet from the machine, but I am not on a static IP anymore.
