VBOX 5.1.22 seeing 2 arrow cursors on screen with guest additions

I'm seeing 2 cursors in a Centos 7 vm on a Mac Sierra host.

This started upon installing the 5.1.22 guest additions. Also, the screen does not resize itself.

I have a fedora 25 vm, and it works fine with the 5.1.22 guest additions.

I compared the two linux vms, and noticed that the vboxvideo driver did not install on Centos 7 vm. The x11 installation log had no info.

Please advise on what other data you might need.

I reinstalled centos 7 (with xfce via epel) and everything worked.

FYI, host is Mac running latest Sierra.

I would consider this closed...
