youtube performance. sound sync.

Seen a lot of threads here on video performance, my issue is with sound sync.

late 2013 macbook pro
2.6ghz i7, 16gb
osx 10.12.3
hybrid intel / nvidia gt750m 2048mb
virtualbox 5.1.14r112924

guests is

* ubuntu 16.04 desktop. its heavy, but its easy to script away annoying gui settings like screen blanking and locking.
* 2 vcpu.
* 2gig ram, 256megs vram 3d enabled
* audio is coreaudio (this may be os x specific)

you tube performance seems fine, but the sound seems just a little bit off when watching people talk. if you pause a video, it will keep playing just long enough to catch up.

Actually, there are a lot of threads about audio/video syncing as well. It has been a known problem. You'll have to wait until it get resolved (not that easy) in a future VirtualBox version.
