Hi All ,
i am not able to access my vm machine from my host.
I have enabled virtualbox host only adapter . CUrrent IP from adapter shown as 192.168.106.4 .
I have assigned static ip of 192.168.106.31 to my machine .
Disabled the selinux , firewall both on windows and linux machine . Changed hostname in /etc/hosts and /etc/sysconfig/network. disabled the iptables too .
ifconfig -a shows the below result
inet addr:192.168.106.31
While pinging from host i can ping the adapter but not the machine inside . similarly i can't ping the adapter from my machine either .
Can someone please help me out here
