Route guest networks through a VPN connection on a guest machine

Post by wildfire »

Hello there!

I'm playing around with multiple virtual machines and I got stuck with some networking complexitiy that I can't seem to resolve on my own. These are my setup and goals:

host: Mac

1st guest: debian, 2 network interfaces: bridged and internal

2nd guest: whonix, 2 network interfaces: ?? and ?? (it comes with one NAT and another internal as default)

3rd guest: win7, 1 network interface: internal

1st guest will solely connect to a vpn server.
I want 2nd guest to use 1st's guest VPN connection and then connect to tor. I want the extra network interface on 2nd's guest to route the tor connection to 3rd guest.

So far I've been able to connect to VPN on the 1st guest, but I haven't been able to use the VPN connection on 2nd guest. Is there a tutorial somewhere that can help me to set this up?
