Re: "end kernel panic - not syncing attempted to kill init"
Did you install Kali yourself?
I see that the hard drive attached is called "Kali-linux-2016.1-vbox-i686-disk1.vmdk". It looks suspiciously like a pre-built image from somewhere else. If that's the case, I'm afraid you'll have to talk to the people that packaged this VM.
Oh, and you can always search for "end kernel panic - not syncing attempted to kill init". There are plenty of ideas from a quick search that I did, but Linux is not my forte.

Re: "end kernel panic - not syncing attempted to kill init"
I downloaded it, I tried it and it worked right out of the box. I see that you made some modifications to the original configuration. From the logs:
But I believe that the real problem is here:
You're really close to your host's limits. You might want to lower your guests RAM, or close other applications on your host, or buy some more RAM for your host.00:00:02.923801 Host RAM: 3069MB total, 1562MB available 00:00:05.245145 RamSize <integer> = 0x0000000058000000 (1 476 395 008, 1 408 MB) 00:00:05.245831 VRamSize <integer> = 0x0000000008000000 (134 217 728, 128 MB)
But I believe that the real problem is here:
You've got to enable VT-x in your BIOS.00:00:05.246188 HM: HMR3Init: Falling back to raw-mode: VT-x is not available

Yes, you're right (http://ark.intel.com/products/40479/Int ... 00-MHz-FSB)
If I remember correctly there was another download that didn't have the "PAE" flag in the Kali downloads. If that doesn't work, you need a more powerful computer.
