Nothing in the VM can access data on your real computer - unless you nominate a shared folder on the host, and then copy some host files there.

So you didn't mean data from the PC, you meant PC information. VirtualBox can access your CPU (it's the only hardware that it accesses directly) and potentially some information from the BIOS, like the serial number, manufacturer, version, etc., if they are available. I'm not sure how it works, but sometimes I see that information in the logs. I'm not sure if they are presented to the VM.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

i wonder is it possible to learn some unique data on real hardware from the VM . And Compare host system with the virtual.

and know that this one person?

Why? What is the real reason? Vague questions can not be answered accurately.

Your public IP address will give away you are in fact the same person. Unless you have more than one public address that is.

no my ip is different. i just wanna know. what REAL information about my hardware can get SOMEONE PROGRAMM or SCRIPT from VirtualBox?

The man higher tells that virtualbox know only my CPU (processor name) and bios information. Is it true? or VB know somethink else?
I really want to learn it from people who thoroughly understand virtualbox.
Doe VB know some unique information about my hardware ? or no? tnx for answer guys!

You really need to tell us the whole story. Why EXACTLY do you need to know that information? What exactly are you trying not to show? And WHY?

If this is something illegal, that's where I will personally stop responding. Unless you give me the whole true story...

why there should be something illegal ?
we are creating virtual machines , in order that they differ from our real. isnt?

You keep trying to get explicit answers to a vague problem description: I'm afraid that isn't going to work out.

You've already been given the general answer: the VM can't learn anything about the host PC except normal network discovery stuff (if you enable a gateway). The CPU doesn't count because the VM has the same CPU as the host - there was no discovery step involved.

If this answer isn't good enough for your specific problem then you'll need to be specific about what your problem is.

thanks for the answer!

in fact, I have an argument with a man. he learn information security, he said that even if the virus come IN VitrualBox, he can not find the data about my real hardware. and i dont belive him. so i was wrong i think... cuz im not the expert in this programm like you mpack. so tnx. and tnx for understand!
