Virtual to physical guest conversion
I am using VB 5.0.4, Linux Mint 17.2 as host . Ubuntu 14.02 server as guest.

Yes, the process is exactly the same for Physical to Virtual (P2V), V2P, V2V, P2P etc etc. The virtual nature of a PC doesn't really change anything. You need a disk imaging tool that works on both PCs (perhaps as a live CD on the target PC), and you perhaps need a fresh set of device drivers for the target - this is less of an issue for Linux guests.
