Internet connection not working (NAT - CentOS 6.3)

Post by Rajendra »

Hello all,

After browsing through lot of items in the forum and online articles....I still can't fix my internet problem. I used to connect to internet inside my CentOS 6.3 VM but not sure what happened after upgrading to VirtualBox 4.3.24 and with the same settings, I can't connect to internet.

When I use "ifconfig" inside VM, I am getting only "Lo" section like below:

lo Link encap:Local Loopback
inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host
UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1
RX packets:8 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:8 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
RX bytes:480 (480.0 b) TX bytes:480 (480.0 b)

I am using NAT settings in my VirtualBox with

Adapter type: Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop
Promiscuous mode: Allows All
Cable Connected : checked

Please help me in fixing this issue.

Thanks in advance,
Raj
