I would agree but I have installed CentOS 7 three times in the past now and had no issues such as the one you are having. I did have the same issue as you when I used your .iso however. So that was my basis for my comment.

Mine is a CentOS 6 based build, not 7.
Plus the live CD setup is a bit different than the installed version, config wise.

I've only installed CentOS 6.6 and 7 but if I can find a copy of 6 somewhere I suppose I could check.

Apparently there is only a CentOS 6... 6.6. And I've already tried that. :)

Sorry, when I said 6 I meant 6.x ==> actually 6.6.
