More than one NICs for Linux guest?

Post by delaflota »

Hi,

I have installed VirtualBox 4.3.10 on Windows 7 (64Bit) and as guest machine a BackTrack5R1_64 (as Linux 2.6 - 64 Bit).

When I wanted to configure the network I realized that the adapters 2 to 4 are all greyed out.

How can I use more than one Network Adapter?

My Host has only one physical network adapter.

Thanks

You can not add or remove network adapters as long as the guest is running. It must be completely shut down.

@Perryg,

Thanks very much for your Answer.
I've installed it again from scratch and then it was possible to define a second device..
I don't know what it was...
