Host Interface Networking Problems.

Hello All.

On a Test machine I'm tying a set up with PCLinux 2007 (host) XP (Guest) .
I want to test a set up with my printer running off XP , because I cannot get good quality prints with Linux.

VB runs well with the basic install.

I followed some post to make a "Network Bridge"

With Adapter 1 set to "Host interface" but I get this.

VBox status code: -3100 (VERR_HOSTIF_INIT_FAILED).

Doing sudo tunctl -t tap0 -u <username> is not a permanent fix .
Any idea's of a permanent fix please.
