With both version 4.3.8 and 4.3.10, I cannot run two kdm/X/kwin
sessions in parallel. Reverting to 4.3.4 makes it work again.
More details: I work with a debian/wheezy virtual machine
on OSX 10.8.5 on a macbook air. Using kdm, I normally log in onto vt7
as one user, then start a new session on vt8 as another. This
always worked well (except for some additions features like guest/host
copy paste, which works on only one of the open vts). After upgrading
to 4.3.10 and still with downgrading back to 4.3.8, the first
session on vt7 works fine, but the second session on vt8 becomes
non functional. The screen hangs (my system monitor stays stuck),
some window focus functions work but only erratically. Keyboard
is non-responsive. I can switch back between vt7 and vt8 ok,
but only vt7 works normally. If I can help track down the
problem, let me know. I hope a future revision will restore
this function.
