"Additional guests" installation for Mandriva 2008

Hello
This is my first message
I am french and so i apologize for my bad english
I have a PC running Windows XP SP2
I am using Virtual Box 1.5.6 , which is a great software !!
I defined a virtual machine to be able to start linux Mandriva 2008 from the live CD image on my hard disk.
Mandriva is running ok as guest
I tried to add the "additional guests" for mandriva but when i perform this action nothing happens
Can you help me please

I answer to myself as i found the information on the virtual.org site

Mandriva 2008

Works, with Additions

Mandriva 2008 has the guest additions for VirtualBox 1.5 installed by default. These should be updated after installation.

Do you know how to update them ?

Hello all

I am a new user a Linux and Mandriva 2008 is my first experience
Just to remenber
windows XP is the host
Mandriva 2008 the guest

I have now installed mandriva on the virtual disk and defined the use of a CDROM for virtual machine
I can boot from the vdi file ok

I saw of lot of packages upgrade under software management in mandriva
Which are the packages i should select to get the complete additional guests ?
Also i have another problem : all the USB devices are not attached
i enabled in the preferences the two options for USB and also selected two filters USB
Now in my windows peripherals two VirtualBox USB are set up correctly
However i cannot get any of my USB peripherals attached to mandriva
