running out virtual hard drive space

Hi All,

I installed the openSuse 10.3 as a guest on my Windows XP, using a virtual hard drive of 12GB, the partitions are:
768 MB Swap
5 GB /
7 GB GB /home

I selected the dynamically expansion for the virtual hard drive, but now I am running out of space in the / partition. I can not install more applications on the Linux guest. How can I solve this?

Use NTFS instead of FAT32.
